It's been 3 years since the Alaska racers have been over here
for what used to
be a yearly event and it was a real treat to have them back.
Their are over 450
photos here that covers most of the action from Friday through
Sunday. Also
included here are photos of several guys on street bikes doing
wheelies and other
crazy stuff up and down the quarter mile. What a weekend!

Wow, what a great weekend of drag racing. Rain around midnight
Friday put a hold
on the action but we got a full night on Saturday that went into
Sunday morning
till around 3 am and then all day on Sunday. Tom Brown went up
against Myles Togioka
in the Top Gun Final and Tom came out the winner. Both Tom and
Myles made personal
best runs down the quarter mile this weekend. The 5 second Big
Island Thunder Funny
Car with owner-driver Mike Bell made a record run on Sunday of a
6.04 and 228 mph.
This is a new record for E.T. and MPH at Hawaii Raceway Park by a
local Hawaii
Resident. Their are over 500 photos included here from Friday
through Sunday.
