June 21, 2025 Event Update.
Following the discussion at the VITA General Membership Meeting, we are addressing the traditionally low turnout for our June events. The three-day racing event at the end of May can be taxing and expensive for racers and spectators alike, resulting in decreased participation. In light of the rising costs of hosting events, it is not feasible to proceed without sufficient interest and commitment. To minimize potential losses by just holding a event , we will implement a pre-registration requirement for racers, with a minimum of 65 cars needed to hold the event.
Payments for pre-registration can be mailed in or made in person at our Memorial Weekend event. A decision will be made announced on June 1st, and refunds will be issued in the event of cancellation or technical inspection failure. No additional refunds will be provided. If supporting the June event is important, please participate.
